RAJA at the Worldwide CLE

The Judge Advocate General, LTG Chuck Pede, invited RAJA to staff a table at the annual Worldwide CLE held at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in September 2019. Mike Chapman, RAJA Vice President, and RAJA members Gil Fegley and Tom Strassburg set up a table with a view toward providing information about RAJA to active duty JAGs who are approaching retirement. It was a wonderful opportunity to alert soon-to-be retirees to the benefits of RAJA membership. (Note that LTG Pede is wearing the new “Army Greens” uniform.)

The team created a brochure to distribute to those attending the Worldwide CLE. A copy is available here. You can use it yourself to help recruit new RAJA members. Simply print it two-sided and fold it into three panels.

RAJA members and their spouses attended the WWCLE formal banquet.

At the banquet, TJAG designated RAJA member COL (Ret.) Lisa Schenck a Distinguished Member of the Regiment. As Associate Dean of the George Washington University Law School, Lisa has influenced many graduates to seek JAGC commissions. TJAG also designated RAJA associate member Marion Fegley an Honorary Member of the Regiment. Marion has been instrumental in the work of The Army Judge Advocates’ Women’s and Spouses Club in support of deployed soldiers.
